SCRUBB Advanced Moss Killer RTU is designed for use on hard surfaces and unplanted areas around buildings and gardens, including paths, patios and similar locations where unwanted moss or weeds appear. It should not be used on lawns or areas intended to support vegetation.
The formulation controls moss and most types of soft plant tissue weeds. It works by contacting the foliage and causing the treated vegetation to wither and die.
Visible effects can begin within around 4 hours of application, with treated weeds and moss typically fully controlled within approximately 24 hours, depending on conditions.
No. The treatment acts on the foliage it comes into contact with, meaning roots may remain alive. New growth may appear over time, particularly with perennial weeds, so repeat treatments may be necessary.
Best results are achieved when treating small or tender weeds and moss less than 10 cm high. Application is typically most effective during the growing season in spring and summer.
The product may be applied up to six times per year, with a minimum interval of seven days between treatments if additional applications are required.
A 5-litre pack covers up to approximately 20 m², depending on the level of vegetation present and the amount of product required to thoroughly wet the foliage.
Yes. Do not apply the product when rainfall is expected within 6 hours, as rain may wash the treatment off the foliage and reduce effectiveness.
The product is non-selective, meaning it will damage any plants it contacts. Avoid spraying vegetables, flowers, shrubs, lawns and other desirable plants. Take care to prevent spray from entering ponds or drains.
People and animals should be kept off treated areas until the spray has dried, which is typically around 15–20 minutes depending on conditions.
