SCRUBB Water Seal is a protectant for porous exterior surfaces including brickwork, concrete, rendering, pebbledash and natural stone. It penetrates into the substrate, forming an invisible, breathable barrier against rain and moisture. SCRUBB Water Seal prolongs the life of exterior surfaces by reducing freeze-thaw damage, and also protects against unsightly efflorescence.

Ensure surfaces are thoroughly clean and free of debris, moss etc. If surface repairs, repointing etc are required, complete these before application. SCRUBB Water Seal may be applied to dry or damp surfaces (not wet), but do not apply during wet weather or when rain is forecast within 12 hours. Using a pressure sprayer, brush or roller, saturate the surface, working from the bottom up on vertical surfaces. If using a pressure sprayer, it is advisable to also spread using a roller or brush to ensure even coverage. Apply a second coat within 1 hour of the first coat, after it has absorbed into the surface but before it has cured. Rollers, brushes and spray equipment should be cleaned with warm water immediately after use. IMPORTANT: Protect product from frost, and do not apply in temperatures under 10C. Do not use on surfaces previously treated with another coating. Some substrates may darken – test first in a small inconspicuous area to check you are happy with the result. Do not use on retaining walls or walls with rising damp issues.
