Bought last week..really smelly drain. Poured it down and no more smelly drain! Brilliant.

Immediate results in clearing the external waste pipe from the utility room.

Unpleasant odour within property as has previously occurred due to unusual jointing and layout of drain. Purchased product to clear suspected domestic drain blockage some distance from the nearest accessible drain cover, as multiple flushing and rodding had not resolved. Concerned that the product would have reduced capacity before running some 25 ft to the block and therefore used the full 1Ltr, rather than prescribed 0.5 Ltr. Reduced use of usual domestic water entering drain for a couple of hours in order not to dilute the product. Appears to have done the job as the unpleasant odour was no longer apparent after a few hours. Have since purchased a further bottle to keep in reserve.

This stuff works. I had a slow draining outside waste pipe from the kitchen. I put this down the drain, left it a couple hours then gave it a good flush through and immediately you could hear the water flushing through. I definitely recommend it having tried other wonder cleaners.

Instructions

Ensure protective gloves and eye protection are worn when using. Remove as much standing water as possible from the drain, sink or toilet, using a cup or jug. Pour 500ml of Drain Shot down the plughole or into drain opening. Clean up any spillages immediately. Allow to work for at least 10 minutes. Repeat if necessary.

In addition to resolving clogs and slow drains, DRAIN SHOT can also be used for regular drain maintenance in commercial kitchens, washrooms etc.: pour 100ml-250ml into plughole each month to prevent bad odours and blockages. Take care to clean up any spillages.

Contains: potassium hydroxide. Causes severe skin burns and eye damage. Keep out of reach of children. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Do not breath vapour/mist. Wear eye protection/protective gloves/ protective clothing. IF ON SKIN (or hair): Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Get immediate medical advice/attention. Store locked up. Dispose of contents/container in accordance with local regulation.

Is SCRUBB Drain Shot suitable for use with septic tank systems?
No, due to its high alkalinity, it’s not recommended for use with septic tank systems.

Is SCRUBB Drain Shot corrosive to metal?
Contact with alkali-sensitive metals such as aluminium should be avoided. Gold-plated or coloured fittings may also be damaged if not wiped clean immediately. However, in normal use situations, no issues are expected.

Can SCRUBB Drain Shot be poured directly down a toilet?
Yes, it can. For best results, remove as much water as possible from the toilet bowl before use to minimise dilution.

Will SCRUBB Drain Shot unblock a toilet?
If the blockage is in or close to the S-bend, yes. Remove all water from the toilet bowl, pour in the full 1L of SCRUBB Drain Shot, and leave for at least 30 minutes. Then add a few litres of very hot water, wait five minutes, and flush. If the blockage is further down the system, the product may become too diluted to be effective.
