Scrubb Patio & Driveway Sealer is a protecting surface treatment for use on all natural and artificial stone like sandstone, granite, porcelain, marble, concrete, concrete blocks. It protects against weathering stains and general grime keeping surfaces looking new for longer.
So to demonstrate the use of this product we’ve got a concrete paving slab and we’re going to apply the product to one half of the slab. Before you apply this product you need to make sure that the surface is fully clean and dry. You don’t want to apply this when it’s raining or when you’ve got rain forecast within 24 hours. You can apply this product neat so you just pour this straight into a bucket or whatever kind of container you want to paint on from and then we’re just using a small paintbrush today for the demonstration but you’ll be using a a roller or it can be also applied with a low pressure sprayer, like a knapsack sprayer. Depending on how porous the surface is you may want to apply more than one coat. Very porous surfaces will need two or three coats to get the optimal effect. If you’re applying more than one coat you want to let the first coat fully dry before applying the next coat. How long this takes will depend on various factors like the absorbency of the surface temperature and humidity.
This is our paving slab that we treated 24 hours ago. The treatment is fully cured now. You can see the contrast between the treated area and the non-treated area. The amount of contrast will vary depending on the type of surface it’s been applied to so the colour and intensity of it will change, that’s why it’s always important to test in a small inconspicuous area first to check you’re happy with the final results. We’re going to take some water in this sprayer and spray it onto both the untreated surface and the treated surface and see how see the difference between the speed at which the water soaks into the surface on the untreated surface. You can see the water immediately soaks right into the surface making this dark mark. We spray the water on the treated side the coating resists the water preventing it from soaking into the surface.

Application Instructions:
- Ensure the surface is thoroughly cleaned before applying. For older or heavily soiled areas, we recommend using SCRUBB Black Spot Remover for a deep clean.
- Once the surface is dry, apply SCRUBB Patio & Driveway Sealer undiluted using a roller, brush, or mop. Highly absorbent surfaces may require 2-3 coats to achieve optimal protection and a stronger colour-enhancing effect. Wait 24 hours between coats for best results.
- Avoid applying if rain is expected within 24 hours.
- The treated area can be walked on after 24 hours.
Coverage: 1 litre covers approximately 6 square meters per coat, depending on surface absorbency and the number of coats applied.
