SCRUBB Water Seal is a protectant for exterior porous surfaces like brick work, concrete blocks, pebble dash, natural stone and rendering. It penetrates into the surface and forms a invisible breathable barrier against rain and moisture. It can prolong the life of exterior surfaces by protecting against freeze thaw damage and against efflorescence and white marks.

SCRUBB Water Seal can be applied to dry or damp surfaces but don’t apply when the surface is wet or when rain is forecast within 12 hours. It’s best to use a pressure sprayer or roller to apply and the important thing is to make sure the surface is are fully saturated if using a pressure sprayer. A roller is always recommended to use as well to make sure there’s no patches that have been left untreated.

So this is obviously a paving block but we’re going to use this to represent a house brick and we’re going to apply this to this surface just making sure it’s fully saturated. It can be applied with a pressure sprayer brush or roller. If using a pressure sprayer it’s also advisable to follow up with a roller to make sure the treatment is spread all over the surface evenly and you haven’t got bare patches. Apply a second coat within an hour before the first coat is fully dried. If needed a third coat can be applied an hour after the second coat.
