Scrubb Adhesive Remover quickly dissolves and removes excess glue, sticky residue, tar spots and marker pen off almost any surface, including metals, finish woods and plastics. However, we recommend you avoid using this on delicate fabric, such as silks and leather.
On this board we’ve got some paper labels, a plastic label and a patch of contact adhesive and we’ll show you what the Scrubb Adhesive Remover can do. You can apply this either with a cloth or directly from the bottle. On the contact adhesive we’ll just pour a thin layer over; on the paper labels we’ll also just cover the surface and it will soak through the paper. With the plastic labels we’ll peel back a corner first and then apply the adhesive remover along the peeled edge, this will allow the adhesive remover to soak in underneath the plastic label. The recommended dwell time is 5 to 10 minutes.
We’ve let this sit for about 7 minutes and you can see the contact adhesive have completely dissolved. We’re now able just to wipe it off. We could also use a plastic scraper at this point. The plastic label—the adhesive remover has completely soaked in underneath the label and the label can be easily peeled back and the paper label—the adhesive remover has soaked through the paper softening up the adhesive underneath and allowing the label just to be peeled up very easily.
